The Wii Remote jackets arrived and I have to admit they’re better than I expected. I asked for two since I have two Wii Remotes and they arrived rather fast and best of all, it is all free.
It won’t turn you into a better player, but it makes the remote a bit bigger and adds extra grip that feels better than the smooth surface. Is it a must? Not really, but if you’re afraid of dropping the remote or launching it towards the TV screen by accident, it could come in very handy.
It’s somewhat easy to slip on, but you will have to remove it partially every time you’ll need to change the batteries so depending on how fast you go through those, it might start to get annoying. An other thing to point out is if you have cheese sticks hands, they might start to gradually change color and you will find yourself with a orange remote jacket.
So if you have kids, or if you’re just not able to keep the remote in your hands because you get too much into it while playing it might be a good solution. They’re not essential but it is a nice addition and we wont start to complaining about free. You can order up to 4 and the only information you need is the serial number that is located on the backside of the Wii.
