I don’t like drifting away too much off Team Fortress 2, I’m afraid my skill is going to start to diminish and I won’t be able to be competitive when I’ll get back to it. But Super Mario Galaxy is just so great, right now it is getting all of my gaming time. Mass Effect is just around the corner too, oh boy this is a great time to be a gamer, I just wish there was a little bit more spacing between these great releases.
I collected 33 stars so far and it feels like it went by so fast. There’s so much variety and you can have lots of galaxies open at the same time which enables you to do the star runs that you want. If you want to keep exploring new galaxies just go ahead, if you get stuck in a challenge just go do another star and come back later. You have so many choices and they’re all different.
One of my favorite type of galaxies are the ones that hold only 1 star. They’re usually more challenging then a ordinary galaxy and it seems like they were a nice getaway for some crazy idea someone in the staff had. The Buoy Base Galaxy (the one on the picture above) is one of them, and my favorite one so far, it can just get better from here.
Also, The first Bowser stage + fight is just incredible, Bowser himself is so well rendered and the fight brings back some memories from Super Mario Bros 3 final encounter which makes it that much better. I can’t wait to fight the next Bowser and Bowser Jr. and see what else the games throws at me.
This made the Wii glow earlier today, something that I wasn’t expecting so it’s kinda cool.
