I love this time of year, even tho it’s getting colder, the days are shorter and the holidays vacations are still far away, a tone of great games are coming out. Tones of new experiences to live, a bunch of wow moments to feel and truck loads of fun to have. Triple-A games are here, and here are the games I played this week.
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
I’m up to 46 stars and still amazed by this title. It is slowly getting harder and the diversity is this there. I have to say it again, the Bowser stages + fights are one of the best parts of this game, it mixes old and new school in a great way.
Team Fortress 2 (PC)
I was able to leave Mario a little bit a side and continue the skirmishes in TF2. Even tho Engineer is the class i have clocked the most time in, my class of choice is the Spy now. The rush that you get when you successfully blend in with the enemy and star to pick them off one by one is very addictive and beautiful in a way. Remember, stay away from the Pyros!
Call Of Duty 4 (XBOX 360)
I just borrowed this from my brother today. Played through the first chapter and I’m very impressed. I have to admit, I would have rather played this on the PC but my computer isn’t powerful enough. The sound design is very well done, the sound effects, dialog and music all blend in harmony with each other. I’m also like the “modern warfare” aspect, the weapons, equipment and tactics are very cool and refreshing.
The 20th of November is d-day for game releases and I have my picks; Mass Effect and Trauma Center: New Blood for me, Rock Band is going to have to wait a little bit. Have a great week everyone and game on.
