Hotel Dusk: Room 215 has been in my pile of unopened games for a long time. So much fun waiting to be opened. I know there’s some games in the pile that I would enjoy so much, is just that other games always keep me from playing them. The game time on my Nintendo DS has been mostly occupied between Ouedan 2 and Planet Puzzle League, but they have been tossed aside for now. I’ve decide to finally give Hotel Dusk a chance.
I’m approximately 2 hours into the game right now, the actual mystery just kicked in. It’s great, I like it. I’m learning a bunch of new lingo and the game really nails the feeling of the time period and type of story. Every character looks like they have something to hide, some secret they want to forget.
For the most part it’s what I expected, what I didn’t expect to see however, is a game over screen. To my surprise, if you happen to ask the wrong questions you can get kicked out of the hotel. It’s not very hard so far, it’s still pretty obvious what the next step is and the puzzle have been mostly DS functionality oriented to this point.
I’ll write my full impressions of the game once I’m done. I want to star Phoenix Wright: Justice for all after I’m done with this.
